Novitates Zoologicae

Novitates Zoologicae.  A Journal of Zoology. 

This was a journal published by the Lord Walter Rothschild, with the assistance of Ernst Hartert.  Rothschild issued the premiere numbers in 1894 (quarto).  With the exception of volume XVII (1910), every volume issued from 1894--1911 included at least one plate by Keulemans.  His total contributions to Novitates was about 51 plates of birds and mammals.  In some printings of this serial, the plates were not colored.
